MISSION
We understand that God has invited us to bring Christ’s counter-cultural presence into the world by sharing our gifts, time and resources. Because we live in a “bottom-line” culture that is obsessed with “doing
” and addicted to “having,” the alternatives of Jesus often look foolish – especially to cynics. And still we move into each day embracing the “foolishness of Christ” because it affirms life, joy and hope.
Mission is how the “words” of our faith become flesh. Mission is how God saves the church from being a club or a burial society. Mission keeps it real. Our mission includes partnerships with a variety of compassionate advocates locally in Pittsfield as well as key connections with others throughout the US and the world.
